I was provided with an awesome opportunity by Coleg Cambria to be one of their students contributing in a part of Wales rally GB 2013. My role was to be as one of a group of scrutineers. We started on Tuesday the 12 November with a meeting of all FIA and MSA scrutineers involved for a briefing on safety and all rules and regulations the teams and cars have to conform to.

9:00am Wednesday morning at the service area at the Toyota plant Deeside then over to Coleg Cambria for the start of scrutineering, checking the cars over,weighing,noise testing and the checking of safety equipment.

05:30 Thursday morning early start for the teams as shakedown and qualifying begins.we began our scrutineering tasks by scanning the cars bar code on the roll cage then all 5-6 tyres.
